Keele University, Newcastle-under-Lyme 28.09.04
Gig rating: ****/5. Though I have become slightly bored of the album (it seems to have a lack of depth, lyrically and musically), there is no denying Razorlight are a good, energetic live band. Some people say the evacuation following the fire-alarm three songs into the set ruined the gig. I say the hour wait was worth it and Razorlight came back more fired up! Shame the only new song contained the line "up all night," what did I say about the lack of depth in the lyrics?
More photos to come from the above gig.
The Sugarmill, Stoke-on-Trent 29.05.04
Gig rating: ***/5. A rather raucous, surprisingly not sold-out, gig made it difficult to take photos. Highlights included the double-header of former single Rock n Roll Lies followed immediately by forthcoming single Golden Touch.
