I felt quite at home in Iceland. There are hundreds (even thousands) of waterfalls, more than they can name, and the scenery is varied; sometimes barren and seemingly lifeless, but more often stunning and beautiful. I must return again. And again.
Following Germany and Austria, my third visit to The Alps, and while not the most spectacular section of The Alps I've seen, the Julian Alps in Slovenia are probably the most beautiful...

I was about to buy some Cheshire cheese for my sandwiches, but then thought being in Italy, I should try some local cheese. I opted for Gorgonzola. It was sometime later when I realised I was in Barcelona... I had recently been in Italy though (Venice was enjoyable to walk around) and I believe many Catalans prefer to think of themselves as separate from the rest of Spain...
