Gig rating: ***/5. One of many Alfa 9 gigs I've attended and unfortunately infront of a 600+ crowd, probably the weakest performance I've heard from them. Though...every other time I've seen Alfa 9 play they've been superb, tonight they were just good; and still, along with Agent Blue, head and shoulders above the other bands that played at the Tsunami Fund Raiser. I was also waiting for a particular song called Flasher, which didn't come. Nevermind - they must be one of the most consistently good bands of the last five years in Staffordshire and surely their time will be soon...
