Norman Blake, "It's one of those tracks that happened in the studio. Gerry had the basic song idea, he really didn't have any lyrics, just the bones of the song. We spent the first day working out a drum part that was exciting, then we started working on the wee intro, the funny guitar sound that starts it, and then Gerry wrote the lyrics in a couple of days."
