FISH!

A Feeder page called 'Fish!'? Why? Well, because that's what they smell like of course (joke).

From the beginning, since Feeder's first major release, they have a habit of strategically placing a fish on their release covers. Nothing to do with religion, just something to do with the fact they were named after a fish.

No prizes for spotting the fish on Feeder's first mini-album, Swim, then:

But from then on, things became slightly more complicated. Look under the barcode on the back of Polythene:

Also check out the back of the Polythene singles:

Polythene's last single, Suffocate, did not have a visible fish anywhere. Unless you could class Jon or Taka as having a fish-eye. But I'll save you a picture of that.

By Yesterday Went Too Soon, the fish had swam again:

Or even a hollow fish:

So, finally for now, onto Echo Park. As far as I know, none of the singles feature a fish, onto the album then...

Is there a fish? Not many people knew. There was supposed to be one. We looked and looked, no fish. Then one day, Grant Nicholas himself confirmed in an interview, yes, there was a fish - apparently swimming in the lake on the front cover. Hours more were spent searching for this fish...surely Grant wasn't lying?

No he wasn't, to save you reaching for your copy of Echo Park (I'm sure you all have one), here is the lake:

Still can't see it?
To zoom in closer to the fish, roll your cursor over here.

If you still can't see the fish, then click here to reveal all!

So, there you go! Grant also signs his name with a fish extension:

Wonder if he signs his cheques in the same way?
